How AI highlight detection actually decides what's a good clip
Livestream highlight detection used to mean one thing: find the kill, the clutch, the obvious gameplay peak. As of 2026, detection engines score a much wider range of signals — reactions, chat message spikes, and even non-gameplay 'Just Chatting' or podcast-style segments — alongside traditional gameplay events.
That broader scoring matters because a stream's most clippable moment often isn't the gameplay highlight at all — it's the reaction to it, or an unplanned tangent that happens to land.
