Edit like you’d tell an editor to.

OptimaClip Studio is a full timeline editor you drive by chat. Take your rendered clips and turn them into a finished video — sequence them, add transitions, music, sound effects, text and graphics, restyle captions — then render in one click. It replaces the round-trip to CapCut or Premiere, and it never leaves OptimaClip.

What Studio does

Chat your edits

Tell the assistant what you want in plain language — “crossfade every cut”, “add a hook title for the first 3 seconds”, “score it with upbeat music, low volume”. It rebuilds the timeline. No scrubbing, no keyframes, no manual required.

Drag-and-drop timeline

A CapCut-style timeline where every element — each caption, text, graphic, sound, music or voiceover — gets its own row. Drag it along, grab a chunky edge handle to trim (the clip resizes live as you drag), split anywhere with the razor or a right-click. The main video track is magnetic, so clips never drift apart.

Edit right on the video

Click or tap captions, text and graphics on the preview to select them, then drag to reposition — no hunting through panels. Right-click or long-press anything for a menu: split, duplicate, delete, reverse, edit. Click the video to play or pause.

Multi-clip sequencing

Combine several rendered clips into one video. Reorder by dragging, split as many times as you want, trim on the timeline, and set a live per-clip speed you can see in the preview.

Pick your cover image

Choose the thumbnail your finished video shows in the Clip Library — scrub to the exact frame and grab it, or upload your own still. No more settling for frame zero.

Your own media + voiceover

Upload video, audio, music and images — or drop a file straight on the timeline — and use them as clips, b-roll, overlays or a music bed. Record a voiceover straight to picture from inside the editor.

Transitions

Crossfade, dip-to-black, slide left/right, wipe, zoom — set per cut or apply to every cut at once, with adjustable duration.

Music & sound effects

A built-in royalty-free library of music beds and SFX, plus your own uploads. Music is auto-ducked and fades in and out so the voice always cuts through.

Text & graphics

Title cards, lower-thirds, arrows and highlight rings — positioned, timed to the frame, with fade / pop / slide-in animation.

Live caption control

Font, color, size, position, karaoke word-pop — previewed instantly, applied to the burned-in captions on render. Drag the captions on the frame to reposition them, or right-click for quick options.

One-click render

The whole timeline compiles in a single pass on the same dedicated, retry-backed render pipeline your clips already use — with automatic failover if anything hiccups.

It stays inside OptimaClip

No exporting to CapCut, no Premiere project files, no re-uploading. Edit where your clips already live, then publish or schedule to 8 platforms from the same dashboard.

How it works

  1. 1

    Render your clips

Run a New Clip Job as usual — OptimaClip finds the moments and renders each clip vertical with captions.

  2. 2

    Open in Studio

On any finished clip, click “Open in Studio”. Your clip lands on the timeline as the first segment.

  3. 3

    Describe the edits

Use the chat: add clips, transitions, music, text, graphics; restyle captions; reorder and trim. Watch the timeline and preview update.

  4. 4

    Render the final video

One click compiles everything. You’re only charged when a render succeeds — 2 credits + 1 per minute.

FAQ

How is this different from the Clip Editor?

The Clip Editor works on one clip at a time — trim, caption style, export. Studio is a multi-track timeline for building a finished video from several clips, with transitions, music, sound effects, text and graphics, driven by an AI chat.

Which plan includes Studio?

Creator and Agency. Editing, the AI chat, and the in-browser preview are always free on those plans — only a finished render costs credits (2 + 1 per minute of output), and only when it succeeds.

Do I need editing skills?

No. The whole point is that you describe the change and the assistant makes it. There’s also a properties panel and a timeline for fine-tuning by hand if you want it.

Does this change how my clips get rendered?

No. The core clipping pipeline — transcription, moment detection, per-clip render with automatic retries and failover — is untouched. Studio adds its own separate, equally reliability-backed render path for finished timelines.

Can I bring my own footage, music or graphics?

Yes — upload your own video, audio, music and images alongside the bundled royalty-free library, or drop a file straight onto the timeline. You can also record a voiceover from inside the editor.
