How to repurpose a conference talk into short-form clips

A recorded conference talk is a high-value clip source because the material is already tight — you rehearsed it, it has a structure, and it's full of quotable lines. The obstacles are technical.

Audio first: stage recordings often have room echo or a distant mic. If you have a board feed or lav track, use it. Clean audio is the difference between a clip people watch and one they skip in the first second.

Framing: conference footage is usually a wide, static shot of the whole stage. Reframing to 9:16 means tracking you within that wide frame, which AI speaker-tracking handles far better than manual keyframing across a 40-minute file.
