The Q&A section is the best part of your webinar to clip
When you repurpose a webinar, the live Q&A section usually yields better clips than the prepared presentation, because each question was asked by a real prospect and the answer is specific, unscripted, and shaped around an actual objection or edge case.
The structure is already clip-shaped: a question is a built-in hook, and the answer is a self-contained payoff. You often don't need to write a hook at all — open the clip on the host reading the question aloud, or put the question on screen as a title card.
Transcribe the whole session and isolate the Q&A block. Moment-detection helps rank which answers were strongest, but also scan for questions that came up more than once across webinars — a repeated question is a validated content topic and probably a gap in your marketing site.
Keep these clips tight. A good webinar answer clip is 25 to 50 seconds: question, direct answer, one supporting detail, stop. If the answer rambled live, cut to just the core of it.
Strip identifying audio. Attendees sometimes say their name or company when asking; trim that so you're not broadcasting who was on the call.
In OptimaClip, load the webinar recording, jump to the Q&A timestamps, and let it cut around each exchange; the question-as-title-card works well with the caption styling, and the exports cover LinkedIn and YouTube where webinar-derived content performs best.
