Building a lead-magnet funnel from course clips

You can pull free clips from a paid course without hurting sales by clipping the lessons that create awareness of a problem and holding back the lessons that solve it. A clip that says 'here's the mistake most people make and why it costs you' builds demand; the step-by-step fix stays inside the course.

The funnel shape: the clip earns the view and the follow, the caption or pinned comment points to a free resource (a checklist, a mini-guide, a template) that expands on the clip, and the opt-in for that resource puts the viewer on your email list where the course gets sold properly.

Choose clips from across the curriculum, not just module one. A prospect who sees a compelling 40-second idea from lesson 14 gets a sense of the course's depth; only ever clipping the intro makes it look thin.

Keep each clip to one idea. Course lessons are 10 to 20 minutes and layered; a clip that tries to compress a whole lesson fails. Find the one moment in the lesson that stands alone and cut tight around it.

The lead magnet has to match the clip. If the clip is about pricing, the free resource is a pricing worksheet — not a generic 'ultimate guide.' Specific-to-the-clip resources convert far better.

Load your course recordings into OptimaClip, let it surface the standalone moments per lesson, and export a batch; then attach the matching lead magnet per clip. One course becomes a steady top-of-funnel feed.
