How Credits Work
Your plan grants a fixed number of credits each billing period. Every credit spent is logged in a running ledger visible on your dashboard's Overview page, itemized by exactly what it paid for — nothing is bundled or hidden.
Monthly allowances
- Starter: 200 credits/month
- Creator: 500 credits/month
- Agency: 1,000 credits/month
Signing up grants a free trial of 30 credits, good for 7 days — no credit card collected, so nothing is ever charged automatically when it ends. If the credits or the 7 days run out first, you'll be prompted to pick a plan from your billing page; picking one charges that plan's price right away and grants its full monthly allowance immediately, whether you do that during the trial or after it's run out.
New Clip Job pricing
This is what a video submitted through New Clip Job actually costs, broken out by pipeline step. A typical job is the sum of analysis, clip generation, and one export per clip you keep — e.g. a 10-minute video producing 4 clips, each exported once, costs 10 (analysis) + 4 (4 clips × 1) + 4 (4 exports × 1, captions included free) = 18 credits.

Every render/export event — whether it's the first standard export, a template or aspect ratio change, an extra format, or a re-export — costs the same 1-credit export fee, captions included free either way. Captions are on by default but fully optional — choose when you submit the video, or override it per export in the Clip Editor. You're only ever charged for renders that actually finish successfully.
Clip Planner pricing
The Clip Planner is a separate, text-only tool — paste a transcript or description and it returns clip ideas without touching transcription or rendering. It has its own flat price: 5 credits per run, regardless of how many candidate clips it returns.
Buying extra credits
Need more before your plan renews? Add-on packs are available any time from your billing page, even if you still have credits left:
- 200 credits for $25
- 300 credits for $35
- 500 credits for $55
Renewal & expiration
Credits are granted again at the start of each billing period when your subscription renews, on top of whatever's left unused. Every grant — a plan renewal, trial credits, or an add-on pack — expires 60 days after it's granted if it hasn't been used by then. Credits are always spent oldest-first, so nothing expires early just because you bought more later.
