How to grow a short-form clips channel from zero
A brand-new clips channel has no audience to seed a video into, so early reach depends entirely on the algorithm testing your content cold and liking what it sees. That rewards a specific playbook.
Pick a narrow niche and stay in it. The algorithm categorizes new accounts by their first 10 to 20 videos — a channel that posts clips about one clear topic gets shown to that audience; a channel that posts about five topics gets shown to no one.
Post daily for the first 90 days. Not because volume is inherently good, but because a new account needs enough at-bats for the algorithm to find the audience, and consistency is read as a signal to keep testing you.
Keep the format consistent — same caption style, same rough length, recognizable framing — so a viewer who likes one clip knows what they're following.
OptimaClip makes the daily cadence survivable: one or two weekly source recordings become a month of consistent, on-brand clips, scheduled to post daily without a daily production session.
